In my last post I told you about histology basics and how the question comes in final exams from this part of anatomy. Now I am gonna guide you people chapter wise and will also highlight important SEQs

THE CELL (1 MCQ )

It is not so important. You have to do only cell junctions from this chapter.

EPITHELIUM (1 MCQ )

This chapter is very very important. Thoroughly go through this chapter.you should be able to draw each and every epithelium mentioned in the chapter and also highlight the location of every epithelium mentioned in the book.

From the topic POLARITY OF EPITHELIAL CELLS you have to do apical domain only; microvilli,cilia, stereocilia are very important

Functions of epithelium are also very important.

Important SEQS:

1-Name structures found on free surface of epithelium cells and structure and functions of stereocilia or microvilli or kinocilia (very important repeatedly asked in Viva,class tests,sendups and proff)

2-urothelium

3-pseudostratified eipthelium location and classification

4-classify simple epithelium

5-what happens to respiratory epithelium in patients who smoke

6-stratified squamous non keratinzed eipthelium structure and location
